AG Wilson Limited Wins Top Team of the Year at 2025 Plant & Civil Engineer Awards

AG Wilson Limited achieved the title of Top Team of the Year at the 2025 Plant & Civil Engineer Awards.

The accolade – sponsored by ReCon Resources – was presented at the prestigious ceremony in recognition of the team’s outstanding technical execution and innovative practices throughout its work on the Carlingford Lough Greenway Section III.

The Carlingford Lough Greenway Section III involved the delivery of the 1.7 km final section. AG Wilson was appointed principal contractor to undertake the works which included the design and construction of a 1,025-metre-long, 4-metre-wide elevated boardwalk, forming a critical link in the wider cross-border greenway network.

The judges commended the winning team on “delivering one of Ireland’s most technically-demanding and environmentally-sensitive infrastructure projects, overcoming complex marine conditions and cross-border challenges through trust, skill, and communication.”

Returning to the Crowne Plaza Belfast, Shaw’s Bridge, the Plant & Civil Engineer Awards ceremony was compered by TV and radio sports presenter, Adrian Logan, and attracted 400-plus industry leaders who gathered for the unveiling of the 18 categories.

Organised by Hillsborough-based publishers of Plant & Civil Engineer, 4SM (NI) Ltd, the annual event has cemented its reputation as a must-attend celebration of the excellence and dedication that drive the plant, construction, and civil engineering industries forward.
