AG Wilson Supports Local Sporting Excellence Through ABC Junior Sports Awards 2026
AG Wilson was proud to sponsor the Youth School Team of the Year 2026 at the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council Junior Sports Awards, recognising the outstanding achievements of young athletes from across the borough.
The award was presented to the Royal School Armagh 1st XI Girls Hockey Team, whose achievements as Double Ulster winners and All-Ireland Silver medallists made them very worthy recipients of the award.
Held at the Craigavon Civic and Conference Centre on 23 October, the awards celebrated an exceptional year for junior sport across the borough. Young athletes, teams, schools and clubs achieved success at regional, national and international level, representing Ulster and Ireland with distinction.
The event was hosted by Denise Watson, with Commonwealth Games athletes Chloe Wilson, Alana Burns-Atkin and Willie-John McCartan sharing their experiences and inspiring the next generation of sporting talent.
Supporting local communities has always been an important part of AG Wilson's approach. Alongside delivering major infrastructure and civil engineering projects across Northern Ireland, the company is committed to supporting initiatives that create positive opportunities for young people and help communities thrive.
Congratulations to all the winners and shortlisted nominees. There was an incredible amount of talent in the room and plenty for our local community to be proud of.
